Two-day courses
Develop Adobe Experience Manager v6.x Custom Services (Formerly AEM Sites: Advanced Developer)

This course is designed as a continuation of the basic Developer course. The material covered is an overview of Advanced Developer topics and describes Adobe best practices with regard to application implementation and deployment.

Day 1 includes a brief look into OSGi component development and OSGi annotations; development models for teams using source code management systems and IDEs like Maven to set up a collaborative build environment; and implementation of Sling Servlets, event handlers, and using Sling scheduled jobs to perform tasks.

Day 2 includes an in-depth look at the CRX (JCR); persistence managers; JCR observation listeners; unit testing; content migration methodologies for importing content into Experience Manager; and application configuration, packaging, and deployment best practices.

Pre-requisites: Participants should have successfully completed the AEM Sites: Developer course.

Adobe Experience Manager Overview for Developers and System Admins

This course is a combined overview of Adobe Experience Manager System Administrator and Developer training, condensed into two days. We’ll cover the prerequisites, installation, and system architecture, as well as specific course selections.

Day 1 includes a brief look into Experience Manager content authoring, with an overview of the digital asset management (DAM) tool, plus several topics from the System Admin course, including authoring pages. Course selection topics include deployment using static servers and dispatcher, replication agents, packages, user permissions, LDAP, admin interfaces — Apache Felix OSGi console, CRX console, and CRXDE Lite — and how to integrate Experience Manager in a production-level environment. The overall goals of this training are to introduce you to the philosophy behind Adobe Experience Manager and how to administer content using ready-made templates.

Day 2 will cover the Developer course, which includes the fundamentals of building a custom AEM system based on templates/components. This session also will provide an overview of the repository via CRX, an explanation of Sling principles, installation of CRXDE, creating a template, adding and using components, creating dialog, and navigation. The overall goal of this training is to enable you to create and understand basic templates.

Adobe Campaign: Marketing User

This two-day course provides marketing professionals with the means to create and drive multi-channel, multi-target, and personalized campaigns. Through hands-on exercises, you will learn how to design and execute campaigns, segment recipients, manage workflows, as well as how to track, test, and measure campaign results.

One-day courses
Adobe Analytics: Reports and Analytics User

This one-day training course will help you use Adobe Analytics to find answers to your business questions. You’ll learn how the reporting interface and navigation work, how to run reports to get the answers you’re looking for, and how to configure reports for effective decision-making. You’ll also learn how to distribute reports, create useful dashboards, and segment your data so you can get the right information to the right people at the right time.

Adobe Analytics: Ad Hoc Analysis

This training will teach you how to use Adobe Analytics Ad Hoc analysis to drill down deep into your website traffic data. Ad Hoc analysis goes beyond day-to-day analytics questions and allows you to explore hidden relationships between your reports. Take segmentation to the next level by applying virtually any segment to any report, revealing the segment’s effect on site traffic, paths through your site, and conversion. Query the entire data set with unprecedented speed and flexibility.

Dynamic Tag Management

This one-day training will teach you how to use Dynamic Tag Management in order to implement page tags for your Adobe Marketing Cloud and third-party tools.

Adobe Target: Intro to Target Standard

This course is a combined offering of two 3-hour courses, Intro to Target Standard and 360-Degree Personalization, delivered in one-day course.

Adobe Target: Intro to Target Standard is an essential first class for Target Premium users, walking through the core concepts and features of the new Target interface so that you can successfully run marketing activities on your site.

In Adobe Target: 360-Degree Personalization, you will learn how they can use the Adobe Master Marketing Profile (MMP) and the Analytics/Target integration (A4T) to achieve a true 360-degree understanding of their customers to drive more relevant experiences for better engagement and improved ROI.

Create, Manage, and Publish Web Experiences Using Adobe Experience Manager v6.x (Formerly AEM Sites: Author)

This one-day course enables students to create new webpages based on various templates as well as update and modify content on an AEM based website. It also introduces students to additional functionalities such as workflows, campaigns, newsletters, in addition to creating and managing responsive and mobile pages.

Adobe Experience Manager Security 6.x

In this training, participants will learn about possible attacks against AEM installations and how to protect against them. After completing the training, the participants will be able to configure AEM and dispatcher in a secured way. Participants will also explore coding considerations in securing AEM.

This training covers security related AEM features, security considerations in code, XSS attacks, securing the AEM environment, operational dashboard capabilities and, User generated content.
